You know so much about these odd sizes I never knew existed. Now bras are more confusing to me then ever. I should go to underwear school. :b

Yes, there's a MAJOR difference. They don't even need a sign because you can easily tell them apart. Girls jeans fit tightly on the body to show-off the figure, and guy's jeans are much looser because they have external genitals, which would be uncomfortable if the pants were too tight. Nonetheless, there's nearly ALWAYS a sign or something to tell you which gender they belong to, as if you really need it.

It’s really insane, bra sizing, haha. I’m sure schooling would make it even worse! Best thing to do is to try stuff on ’til you find The One. :)

I’m glad you found a comfortable size!

Chris Said:

Most of the time they are unisex. But some are made just for women because the chest is made for women's boobs. And Men's tank tops tend to be longer than women's tank tops.

I actually did go back to victorias secret and bought some bras. The closest fit was the 32c so you were right. I would say that 32c is much closer to being a sister size to 34a rather then 32b though lol.

-_- wow, i got lost in there, and some of it was just stupidity on your part. androgynous individuals are those that identify as neither male or female, and show sides of each and neither. genderqueer is very similar, and basically is just a slightly broader term for that.
and no, asking a bunch of Qs abut that does not make u such. it makes you curious.

Women can wear trousers and other men's clothes because they earned the right. In the 40's and 50's women who wore trousers were chastised. Society said they were trying to act like men, they were jealous of men, etc.. They were not allowed to dress in trousers in church, in school, or in any professional setting. Women like Katherine Hepburn shocked society when she appeared in men's clothing, saying that she felt comfortable in them.

If men want to be freed from the tyranny of trousers then they need to challenge social convention too. They need to wear skirts and dresses and maintain their masculine confidence. If anyone says anything they should say they are challenging the social conventions that have held them down in boring clothing choices.

I would love to have a boyfriend with a lean hard-body, strong shoulders and well defined pectorals. I would want to see how he looked in an outfit like this:
http://www.simplydresses.com/color/detail.cfm?key=348310&v=PD&cat=blue-dresses
I think this would show off his shoulders and pectorals and contrast his masculine form with a feminine trim. Very interesting. I would like the feel of soft feminine clothing against his hard body.

Of course not all men could pull this off. But if men started showing their legs, their shoulders, etc.. then maybe they would start taking better care of their bodies. Maybe they would actually be caring for their bodies for the benefit of their women. Men would actually be pretty.

My underbust is 27 inches as well, and I wear 32s very often. You’re right that it’s a tad too loose, but 30 is a better fit than a 28. I mean, 32 fits nicely on the last hook.

Yeah, they exist! Even 28Fs exist, lol.
Honestly, a 32DD chest isn’t all that dramatic. Just…full.

WPMixer Said:

I know a good bra is supposed to be snug but the 32b was pushing them flat and uncomfortable. My frame is quite small and my bust is quite proportionate with my body, but, I’m not flat chested. But I’ll do what you suggest and try the 32c and hope it works. I never knew that a 32DD actually existed? lol

Those were the decades of the sexual revolution: especially the 60s. Women first started wearing bikinis, miniskirts, and short shorts. The bikinis were not as racy as the ones teens wear now, because the older swimsuits were so conservative that designers needed to take people through an evolution before they could get them into the "string bikini" which came into fashion about 1971.

Big boobs were all the rage, and women wore padded bras to enhance what they already had. This began to change when Twiggy became a super model in the late 60s. She introduced the world to the beauty of the anorexic woman.

Another difference in fashions is that for both women and men, wearing military looking stuff was popular. In fact everything military was popular after the glorious WW2. Vietnam cured that.

Art Deco was the rage during this time, because it was the dawn of the space age. Engineers had much higher status. They were not considered nerdy looking. Thus, women wore vinyl stuff a lot. Vinyl purses, gloshers, rain coats, and swede made to look like vinyl (especially high boots).

We did not have computers to bring us whatever nude celebrity we wanted. (Although I admit that I have not yet found any nudes of Rosy O'Donnell or Janet Reno.) Therefore, pinups on the wall were great. They were even found in the work place until women started objecting to it during the 1980s.

Honestly i see what your saying, But the last user who awnsered, Just because those girls wear juicy tracksuits doesnt mean their rich, Now come'on If they were rich why they go to public school. How do you know they didnt just go on ebay or a discount store and get that. People would judge me for being rich, Because i went to private school, And here and there i bought after school clothes that we're designer, And accused me of being a spoiled brat, I am not and was not , never will be i came from a working middle class family, Hey my parents could have bought me a way more tun of stuff with that 24,000 a year.

I personally don't like drugstore makeup, It clumps and it lumps bottom line on me, It looks terrible maybe on other people it looks good but i'd rather go to sephora and mac and go buy 200.00$ makeup, that statifys me, I still shop at normal clothing stores forever 21,juicy,ralph lauren,Abercrombie,Alloy, dehilas All those stores.

Honestly, ( to the user above me) If you talked to everyone of those girls parents you would see how their struggling,Their working, And they really cant afford what their daughters buy.

Yes, it's true. It's that French "ette" ending that makes it female.
But I was wrong about blond/blonde – it can be male or female for either one.

Oh, and your period should be inside the quotation marks.

Edit:
Coming from a terribly impertinent "American" frame of reference, of course. Apparently the rule might be different depending on where you live. Don't ask me why!

WPMixer Said:

Wrong sir!

Remember, WE’RE the ones that put on our bras every damn day.

Most of the time I really dislike it. Sometimes I will say so, something like "I prefer to save terms of endearment for my loved ones." But that doesn't tend to go over all that well. Occasionally I'll toss back a "darling," or if I want to be funny, "sugar-britches." (I save that for the guys, it does get a good laugh)

When I'm in a REALLY good mood, sometimes it doesn't bother me. But mostly I find it presumptuous and patronizing. Even if it isn't meant to be, I feel like people in service professions should know.

But often I do let it go, and I don't think most people realize it bothers me if I don't want them too. I hated waiting table because people are always calling the waitress "honey" or something like that, and you can't say anything if you expect to remain employed. It may have been the best reason to get my graduate degree.

And this might make more sense: The fitter told me I’m a 30E, which actually does work out mathematically (30 in. back, 35 in. bust). This was without any measurements.

But, I measured myself just now, and my back is 27 in. and my bust is 35 in. So if your back is 28 in., a 30C might be your true size.
Now, I wear a 32DD because I haven’t seen a 30 band person yet; in your case, a 32C will probably work.

Good luck!
